Hadassah UK supports the life-saving work of the Hadassah Medical Organisation in Jerusalem, one of the Middle East’s leading hospitals for innovation, coexistence, and humanitarian care.

 

As our work and impact continue to grow, we are inviting passionate individuals to play a meaningful role in our future by joining us as a Hadassah UK Ambassador or Trustee.

 

Whether you wish to help raise awareness, strengthen networks, or contribute to the strategic direction of the charity, there are opportunities to get involved and make a lasting difference.

About the Board

The Hadassah UK Board of Trustees currently has eight members with extensive experience of business and charities as well as our Advisory Board of experienced medical, legal and business professionals.

 

The Chair of the Board is David Waterman who has been involved in supporting Hadassah for over 30 years. David is a businessman who has devoted much time and energy to charitable organisations and has decades of experience in being involved with Hadassah.

 

Our Trustees act as ambassadors for the organisation within their own networks and communities, helping raise awareness of the vital work of Hadassah’s hospitals in Jerusalem and the importance of international philanthropic support. All our Trustees share Hadassah UK’s vision, helping to guide the charity with integrity, judgement, creative thinking and a willingness to listen to others.

 

Become a Trustee

Trustees play a vital leadership role in guiding the strategy, governance and long-term success of Hadassah UK. Trustees join the Board and help ensure the charity continues to grow its impact, fundraising and partnerships.

 

Trustees typically:

• Provide strategic oversight and governance
• Support fundraising and donor engagement
• Contribute expertise and leadership
• Attend quarterly Board meetings and occasional charity functions.

Become an Ambassador

Hadassah UK Ambassadors help champion our mission by expanding awareness and engagement within their networks. Ambassadors act as advocates for Hadassah’s work and play an important role in helping introduce new supporters, partners and opportunities.

 

 

Ambassadors typically:

• Promote awareness of Hadassah’s life-saving medical work
• Introduce potential supporters and partners
• Attend and support key events
• Advocate for Hadassah within their networks
