- The Hadassah School
The Hadassah School is a Special Educational Hospital School serving hospitalised children and young adults, and is now the largest and most advanced of the 45 hospital schools in Israel. It enhances the schooling experience for children in hospitals, but also creates new training template programmes tailored to their unique educational and medical needs.
Hadassah School has gained recognition and acclaim for its many innovations, including receiving the National Prize for Education and status of “Pilot Study School”, allowing it to further develop original programming and innovative teaching strategies for later distribution to hospital schools.
Our young patients learn about their disease and the medical procedures they will undergo to help them understand their treatment in advance, in an interactive and informative way.

Hadassah Hospital cannot fund these educational research projects from their operating budgets and depend solely on community generosity to fund these vitally important programmes.
